Mar Vista Baptist Church has been serving Imperial Beach since 1951. In the last few years, it has begun a new chapter in its history. We are multi-ethnic, multi-generational church committed to faithfully teaching the Word of God and living out the Word of God in community with one another.     Welcome! It is a real joy for us to meet newcomers and to tell you about all the good things God is doing in our church family. Mar Vista's mission is to "make disciple-making disciples through the personal investment of our lives."


    We want to inspire you to build relationships with other believers, and equip you with the necessary spiritual tools to bring glory to God and be a blessing to the world.

  • Services

    Sunday morning is a time to fellowship as Christians and worship through prayer, teaching, and hymns. Adult bible study begins at 9:00 am Sunday morning, immediately followed by traditional worship services at 10:00 am. Later in the week join us for Bible study Wednesday night at 5:00 pm.


    LISTEN TO SERMONS


    Adult Bible Study: Sunday Mornings, at 9:00 am.

    Traditional Service: Sunday Mornings, at 10:00 am.

    Prayer Group: Sunday Evenings, at 5:00 pm.

    Midweek Adult Bible Study: Wednesday Evenings, at 5:00 pm.

  • CHILDREN AND YOUTH at MAR VISTA

    We are a growing church that takes the teaching of God's word to children and youth as importantly as we do for adults in our church. We have a nursery area for mothers with young children and a children's church during Sunday services. 


    Children's Sunday School: Sunday Mornings, at 10:00 am.
